Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give Offers Big Draw for FansThe Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give has been played annually in Grand Rapids, Michigan since 2014. This year, it is being held June 13-18 at Blythefield Country Club and offers some big names for fans.

This year’s tournament will host a full field of 144 golfers for four rounds of competition. The tournament is played for a good cause. Proceeds from the tournament and related festivities will benefit the Meijer Simply Give program, which works to restock food pantries throughout the Midwest. Since its inception in 2014, the tournament has raised more than $2.1 million for Midwestern food pantries.

The Past Three Champions, and Other Big Names

Sei Young Kim, Lexi Thompson, and Mirim Lee have all won the event in prior years, and will all be playing in the 2017 tournament.

The tournament will also add live music to its tournament schedule, hosting a concert following tournament play with Grammy Award-nominated 3 Doors Down. Celebrity Chefs Cat Cora and Carla Hall will also be at the tournament.
